Got a fitness question? Ask our expert!

by 2

Rather than us picking the fitness topics for the next issue, we thought we’d give you a chance to get some of your queries answered. No, we’ve not run out of ideas (far from it…) but we figured that it would be worth taking in your fitness queries and answering a few of them for a couple of issues, rather than picking a single subject.

Once again, we’ve asked our non-resident Fitness Guru, Matt Hart of Torq Fitness to look at your queries, pick the best ones and answer them in the magazine for the benefit of all the readers keen to get faster, fitter, trimmer or buffer this summer… And with the race season (and dare we mention ‘dry trails’?) upon us, it’s time to get out and ride!

'How do I get tanned and fit looking like you, Matt?' - 'Easy, ride your bike a lot'

So, in order that Matt can work out where you’re coming from, we’ve set him up an STW email address for just that purpose. Matt can be reached at fitness@singletrackworld.com. Pick a single question that you’d like him to answer, such as ‘How can I get faster at long climbs’ or ‘How long should I leave it after breaking my collarbone before I go offroad again?’ rather than anything too vague ‘How can I get fitter?’

The questions that Matt picks will be answered in Singletrack issue 58, out on June 11th and 59, out on July 22nd.
