X9 double chain set working loose

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone else with an X9 double chainset is suffering from the drive side working loose? If so, what have you done to prevalent it happening, and has it worked?

New bike has it and after 2 rides, the chainset was falling off...so if that is what is to be expected then I'm going to be tightening up the crank bolt every 20 miles...

sorry, what is working loose, the chain rings or the crank arm ? what sort of bb system are you using ?

The crank from the bottom bracket...which is a bb30. That'll teach me for thinking my original post was obvious...obvious to me as I know what I'm typing about!

you need to get the non driveside bolt torqued correctly or it will loosen. it has to be done up alot more than you think or it can work loose.

do you have a torque wrench?

I have a torque wrench but not got a 10mm head for it, so I'll go to Halfords and buy one tomorrow...better to be safe than broken-and-walking-home!
