  • Women's road bikes with rack mounts?

    We're after a women's road bike which will take a rack for light touring. Any idea why only the bottom of the range ones have rack mounts? I can understand them being difficult on a carbon frame but why do Specialized and Trek remove them on their Alu frames as they go up the range?

    Any one know of a women's specific road bike for less than £1000 with rack mounts?
