  • which easy road event for a non-cyclist?

    My friend’s son is trying to raise sponsorship for a build a something or other in the middle of nowhere before his a levels.

    He’s thinking of getting sponsorship to do a ~50k road ride. Yes I know is not much to you cycling gods but to a novice its fairly daunting.

    Anyone know of a sportive or similar nr wiltshire that a very inexperienced 15 year old can do on a moutain/hybrid without everyone getting huffy?

    As he’s only 15 I guess I’ll have to do it with him and DROP HIM ON THE FIRST CLIMB AND SHOW NO MERCY HA HA HA!!! no not really, i’ll just pootle round.
