Just signed up to the bike to work scheme, and I can't decide which bike to get?

Should it be the Boardman Team Carbon or the CX bike, come on lets have your suggetions and rcommendations please.

Do you have a road bike?
Do you have a CX bike?

What is your commute route like?

Have a road bike, specialized allez which I will sell regardless of which bike I buy.

Commute would be anything upto 20 miles each way, through town and countryside.

Get the CX put slicks on it and race it with knobblies in winter

I have got to admit the CX bike looks more interesting as when out on the road bike and see a trail I always wonder where it goes and just want to explore.

Get the CX bike and then later on get a lighter set of wheels with road tyres fitted, unless your planing on racing then that will probably give you the best option.

Which is why I got a CX bike on the CycleScheme as my commute can be done on a mix of tracks & road
