Agreed, but beware hidden rocks when going off-piste, couple of times I've ended up wondering if I've shattered my spine.

If only it had snowed so you can stuff some snow inside the bag.

Drac - thats a good idea! Except I normally get IN the bag, not sit on top of it.

This looks pretty damn cool too but check out the price
. Same thing is £34 plus delivery from Newitts - shame they don't have stock.

Yup just use a metal tin tray they go 10 x better than ANY sledge you can possibly buy!

Decathlon in Stockport had none today (as I expected) and the lad I aksed wasn;t hopeful about next week's planned delivery actually arriving

Waterproof trousers?
Or just use a cushion.
Better still just HTFU!

Two Tea Tray solution works well although my kids are a bit bigger than that. Pig feed bags with a bit of straw have proved surprisingly awesome.
My own built sledge, however, was a not quite the triumph I'd hoped for.
Oh and being towed with a bike is, apparently, nearly as good as going down.

HTFU? I'm going down without any padding and recommending it, you're the one recommending poncey cushions
