I do not own much ponce-equipment as a matter of fact, but toast is extremey important to my lifestyle, and it is well worth investing in the infrastructure to manufacture adequate quantities.

A mate has a toaster that cost over £100,all electronic.
Press a button the bread 'lowers' and it switches on,when its ready it slowly lifts and if you dont remove it within a set time[adjustable]it lowers the toast back in and heats it up again
Pretty flash,but who can justify that much on a bread burning machine
