Need to purchase said snowchains for car journey end of Feb to the Alps. Have 4×4 estate but still need them as I think it’s statutory? Some on Fleabay are around the £35.00, which look fine. Others cost twice that. Presume as they’ll live in the boot for 50 weeks of the year, little point in paying over the odds. I take it the cheaper variety are ok?
