    My mate is thinking of getting an orange Alpine. He is 6 foot tall and has an inside leg of 32″ . what frame size is ideal

    im 5’9″ and 18″ fits perfect with slightly shorter stem. try both sizes to be sure.

    It’s quite short, so try both the 18 and 20″.

    I’m about the same size. 18 fits me really well (i think)
    Best to try 1st tho’ as it’s big outlay, to find you’ve made the wrong choice

    It’s not that short. An 18″ has a 600mm effective top tube.

    It’s got a steeper seat angle than something like a Five due to the extra travel.

    Depends on what you want to do with it too. A mate’s got a 16″ and he’s about 5’10. But then with some fox 36s and a CCDB, he’s mainly interested in the downs!
