My old Crud rear is still going strong on the HT.

Bought new one recently and it’s falling to bits..bit pants compared with the old one.

Looking for something new and better that the new crud offering.

Any thoughts or recommendations?

Very similar to the crud. I have the old version with the QR clamp. As I understand it the new ones have some weird clamp with cogs so they are more fit and forget than pick when you choose it.

Pity there was’nt someway we could melt old plastic coke bottles and make our own.

Yeah, new crud is s**t unfortunately. And they know how to fix it too, they’ve just chosen not to (only takes about 5 minutes to make it work properly, if you have a lathe) Real shame since the old one was the best mudguard ever made IMO.

Cycraguard is a wee bit overcomplicated but works very well.
