Just wondering am i right to be unhappy with them ?
On Monday i ordered a few items all that were shown to be in stock and disspatched in 24 hours if priorty posting was paid so i went ahead and placed my order.
Now it took them 4 days to even get round to my order and then tell me that 2 of my items were out of stock (yet the website is still showing they are both in stock and still disspatched in 24 hours)
So when i asked why after paying for pirorty posting it has taken then 4 days to even get round to begin getting on with my order i was told they have a small backlog to clear which not ideal but i can understand.
The fact that it took 4 days before they tell me that 2 items are out of stock ,yet they were when the order was placed and the fact that they are still advertising they still have in stock and will be disspatched in 24 hours is what im not happy with.
They ignored this question and are will not tell me if this is company policy.
When asked if it might have been better for me to be informed that allthough they say they have stock to be disspatched in 24 hours that it might be late and some items are not even in stock but we will still charge you for priorty posting even though it will be a week before i got some items i have not got a reply.
Part of me thinks things happen get over it , the other part thinks they are taking the p*** by telling me they have stock when i place my order then to tell me they dont yet still advertise that they do 4 days after taking my order iam not happy with also the fact i wasnt told items were out of stock untill the rest of the order was sent and money taken .
I would have liked the chance to canncel the whole order or even a answer to my questions.
I haven't used Wiggle since they screwed up an order right royally. One of their servers reset during the night, so they tried to process my order with my roll-backed customer details, which I had updated before placing the order.
Wouldn't respond to my emails, just endless cookie-cutter responses, round and round in circles. Eventually printed off all the emails, sent them to customer services recorded delivery. Got a phone call from the customer service manager the next morning, refused to apologise, and then they still charged me for priority shipping. Utterly useless, and sounds like they haven't got any better in the following years.
They really should just give out a phone number, as they are unable to deal with any nuances through email. "It looks from a 2 second glimpse that this is problem X - send them problem X generic response"

Yes I've had problems with priority delivery as well and only use the free one now as in most cases its quicker.
I can live with the extra posting charges its the fact they are telling me 2 of my items are out of stock when they are still advertisng that they are even 6 hours after telling me that they have none in stock that is pi****g me off and to make out its my fault as they have a backlog, also when asked that as it was in stock when i placed my order why wasnt my items took off there stocklist they had no answer .
So i have learnt my lesson i wont buy again from them as it seems comany policy to say items are in stock when not only are they not you carnt even say when they will be in stock again.
So to [removed] the fact that you wont answer my questions and then ignore my e mails seems to me you just but your name to replys without even reading them as this statement by you
"Your understanding is greatly appreciated"
as you dont have my understanding as i dont understand how you take 4 days to tell me you have no stock of 2 of my items yet continue to misslead future customers by claiming you have them in stock ๐
Always just use the free one, and it's pretty quick. Most things come in a couple of days. Never had any issues with it
I can confirm Cycle Surgery are also complete c#ts like this.
2/10 no random capitals (fail) not nearly enough swearing filter dodges (fail)
and capital letters (fail) and correct punctuation (massive fail)!!
must try harder.
pretty frustrating situation though, I was there myself with the epic mark anthony cycles whom I spoke to on the phone but still got nowhere!!
3.1 for technical merit. 2.4 for artistic impression.
Unlikely to trouble the podium.

Is a bit rubbish given that the order I placed yesterday (with free delivery) was dispatched yesterday (so they claim). Maybe they don't like you?
I don't like to moan about mail order but this sort of thing is totally wrong and you have every right to be angry, they should not be advertising it is in stock when it clearly isn't, and yes mistakes can and are made but to still not update the stock availabilty after said mistake is even worse, as you say taking the piss with other customers ordering the same out of stock items.
I ordered items at 10pm Monday. They were at my doorstep at 9am Wednesday.
Great service.
Orders a pair of trainers on Tuesday mid afternoon.
Got them on Wednesday morning..
Nowt but praise for them from me..
And the moral of the story is............never pay for postage when a free option is offered.
My most recent order took 2 working days to arrive so I'm happy with that however Wiggle have gone and sent me the wrong item... They've screwed my order by sending me half the requested amount that was ordered (energy drink).
Been using them for a little while now although only for a select few products and this is their 1st mistake, is frustrating though that they haven't got a contact centre... will see how long it takes to sort via email now!
Ordered a new bike for my daughter on Saturday and arrived first thing Monday morning
I've noticed that wiggle don't deal with out-of-stock items very well. Last time they messed me around I ended up with a credit for 10% of the value of the end of the line stem which they advertised as in stock when it was not.
I was I got anything 9am in the morning, Our postie never turns up till at least 1:30pm and the local collection office shuts at 2:30pm so have to wait an extra day to get things.
I very rarely need things next day and allow time for stuff to arrive. Only start to get annoyed if it takes more than 5 workings days.
If one of my local shops don't have it I search for somewhere that does, I generally have no real loyalty.
They posted my frame, but it took daily emails to get the forks.......a week later
Wiggle, i think they are set up just to take money off you, they couldn't give a monkeys about the customer. When you've got that big and have new customers rolling in every day, repeat trade is right down on their list.
I don't find them very cheap, the postage service i've had from them has been random.
And speaking as some one who "didn't" have there credit card ripped off, just before wiggle stepped up their security, i'd only ever use paypal with them.
As for selling stock they haven't got, imagine coming out of Tesco's getting to the car and unloading the weekly shop to find half the things you had picked up and paid for have gone!
They are not the only ones, but in an age when you can pay for goods anywhere you can get a mobile signal 24 hours a day. why can't they manage there stock at the check out?

It won't obviously happen with in-store purchases but it does with online. I had to talk through my "alternatives" with the delivery man last night.
