the new ones as my 'older' cheaper ones don't have the flared rubber bits on the back or the adaptor to fit Aero forks

Thanks for that, I'll get hunting for them, I was thinking I might need a second commuter for winter that'd take full guards until I came across that bike on eBay, although maybe I still do??? 29er monstercross is what I'm thinking
