Can anyone recommend a good saddle? Used to have the WTB Rocket V, is this still good or any others that I may consider?

Depends on your ar$e, If it felt good to you keep using it,
Charge spoons are pretty good and great value for money

ok, I'm average height and build so nothing big, just wondered if there was anything else out there worth considering, light weight but comfortable

Charge spoon is a popular choice, ti if you want it light.
SDG Bel Air also. But saddle comfort is very subjective.

I have had a few that have supposed to be good over the years (currently have a gobi xm on the main bike) but nothing is as easy to get back onto as the sdg formula fx ibeam. It flexes so well, doesnt look well padded but has a nice narrow width through its overall length and it just feels so comfy.
Dont think by what you have tried in the past (if yer weighty) that you definately need a more heavily padded saddle. I am 13 odd stone. These will change your thoughts on padding for ever.

I had a sore arse with a saddle of unknown name...
Bought this: http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/January+Sale+Section/MTB+Clearance+Section/Selle+Italia+XO+Flow+Saddle_XOFLOW.htm
I now bask in beautiful bottom comfort!

Sdg bell air. Imo best saddle in the world. Obviously a personal thing, but I cannot ride on a gobi, it's agony!

I love the original Bel Air, not so keen on the newer ones. Another vote for the Charge Spoon (I tend to run these on my play bikes as they're cheap so I won't get annoyed if they break). My other favourite saddle is my I Fly - doesn't look comfy, but is even on really long rides.

Specialized BG in the size that fits you.

Had a WTB Speed V that I liked a lot. Tried SDG's and was only ok. Gobi was not nice, Selle Italia Flite hurt me.
Spesh Toupe on my roadbike made me go for a Spesh Phenom on the MTB and it is great. Did a 125km marathon on it over rough terain, 8 hours later my arse was still fine.
Very light as it is so minimalistic in design.Posted 4 months ago # -
4 bikes, 4 charge spoons can't praise highly enough
