Fed up of making crap coffee at work (or messing round with the Aeropress), I've started making coffee at home in the morning and taking it to work with me.

As STW is the source of mundane product knowledge, what small mug sized (0.3L) flask should I buy?
Lyons Fresh Ground Coffee Bags are the future, I bulk order directly from them as it is the only place that I have found their Rich Roast (Strength 4).

fresher than coffee thats been stuck in a flask ....
would rather mess around than drink stale overbrewed coffee ....

So sick of "travel mugs" that neither keep the coffee warm nor don't spill.
Bikeforums.net might be a better place for this, though - what with Americans loving their coffee and long commutes.
I might be missing something, but Tesco do leak-free flasks for £3.

pre-warming flask/travel mug with boiling water makes a huge difference in my experience; burnt my mouth in Dundee on coffee made in Edinburgh about 1 1/2hrs earlier and put in my crappy Aladin travel mug!
I've got a few of the cheapo Tesco and Morrisons ones (1L capacity) - they're fine for what they are at that price. Liquid inside isn't kept as hot as I'd like, but were fine for a mid-point drink on the holiday drive during the summer.
I've got a couple of Coleman flasks (1L and 0.75L) that are simply superb with the liquid still piping hot a day later. However, they're 15 years old so no idea what the current ones are like.
Only thing I've found is that I've been less impressed with flasks with the fancy pour systems for either pouring or keeping the liquid nice and hot - much prefer the simple screw cap flasks, with pour grooves in the side.
Best flask i've ever had was a Colemans. Mates got a USA made Stanley and thats brilliant, I've got a China made Stanley and it's my 3rd warranty flask in 12 months though PMI the importers replaced without quibble.
