i'd head towards the peak if I were you, wharncliffe will be extra super crap at the moment. unless you like a 'pushing bike through mud' day rather than a ride.

Mud…….I live and ride in the Wyre Forest so I am use to riding in mud….

I considering it – what time are you around?

I'm from Worcestershire, but I will be driving up to Sheffield on Saturday, stopping over on Saturday night, then over to Wharncliffe on Sunday morning.

That's four of us so far.

I'm really sorry guys but I wont be able to make it on Sunday morning….due to lack of a rear wheel….

In rushing to load up the car in the heavy downpour and then the phone ringing….I have left the rear wheel at home…..a first for me!

As good as my skills are my riding skills do not allow me to ride only on the front wheel….

Chris and I thought Wharncliffe might be a bit too damp so figured some where else might be better. He suggested the Walkley trails at 10.30…
