Hi all been using 661 Kyle straight knee pads for a while but finding the size large I have tight on my lower thigh and pretty warm for general trail riding.
Looking at the troy lee kg5450 knee pads as a replacement the comments seem to be they come up pretty big. Looking at their size guide I would be right on the upper limo for a recommended medium.
I don’t want to end up with pads that feel overly tight and restricting blood flow while pedalling again.
Also having never seen a set in the flesh how much thinner than the Kyle straights are they.
I appreciate its a trade off between comfort and bulk
    Thanks in advance.

I ordered a pair in Large as that seemed the right size, based on the sizing, and I normally take a large. They were a bit too big so sent them back. Tried a pair of Dainese Trail Skins on in my LBS and have gone for those instead (in a L).
If you normally take a large I’d recommend going for a medium.
