I played with the colours on my one too – looked too dull on the screen otherwise. looks more realistic

What I do is as follows [In Picasa 3]:

    Warm the picture.
    Slightly darken.
    Saturate slighty.
    Cool slightly.

Actually this works quite well on woodland shots in general.

A good feature in Picasa is that you can copy and paste effects.

OK, now we all know, redthunder doesn’t ride in a nicer universe than the rest of us 😆

    Ahem, it’s cheating 🙄

Ok there are no bikes, but this landed on a bluebell (I think the Spanish variety) Does it still count ?

The blue flowers are Grape Hyacinths (Muscari armeniacum – OK I had to look that bit up, I admit!)

    They’re also no blue!

    Sorry, poor phone photo.

Plenty of bluebells out in the woods by the path down to the West Gate at Lyme Park. Photos never seem to do the colours justice (although some of the previous photos posted seem to have done it perfectly). It’s a great time of year to be out and about.

Slightly OT, but I thought there’s suppose to be a bee crisis. Don’t know if it’s because I’m more on the lookout for them but I seem to have seen loads this past few weeks…

Bumble bees are fine, it’s the honey bee that’s in trouble.

btw. I know that path really well.

    Sorry, poor phone photo.

Wish my ‘phone cam was that good!

S’why I din’t bother taking any pics of the mauvebells I say today, in Epping Forest. Just a few little clumps of them, but nice to see they waited for me! 🙂

ballsofcotton wool – what lovely smiley girls you have there!

crispy bacon – never too late for bluebells and that is quite an impressive display. Had assumed that they would be disappearing but saw some today in the Chilterns.
