Will this fit a standard 9 sp rear block - it seems very short now Ive taken it out of the box. Currently I must have the medium one, even though I speced the bike with a short one. Ive only got a 24 tooth front ring.

If you are only using one chain ring....Yes its fine.

Thanks, I assumed it was, but in real life it did look way too short. I didnt want to cut my chain and then find it didnt fit.
