Iron horse got bought by GT, so no worries on the warranty they are covered.
They are one of the best DH frames every buil; shame they forgot to pay for the DW link. That said the design is basically 6-7 years old and they aren't that light, usually around 35lb if you drop a fair bit of cash. A budget build will be around 40lb.
Due to the linkage there are alot of bearings and they do wear, but they aren't expensive to replace.They ride really well and track brilliantly, even if you go for a budget build you won't be disappointed.

Evans sold of their old Iron Horse stock in January.
I had a hard think about the warranty issue but decided to go for one.
Managed to pick up a Sunday Elite for a very very good price, great bike!If you need spares for a Sunday, Pearce Cycles stock everything you need.
Iron Horse Sunday SparesThey also have the frame parts list linky usefull for stripping the bike down/removing the shock etc.

Your not going to find a fully specced DH bike for that price for along time!

Do you think these might have been built up with a little help from the parts bin or was the spec always a little suspect on some of them?
Sunday Team - x5 shifter and x7 mech on a £2.6K bike don't seem right.
