Pas de La Casa in Andorra is great. I learnt to board there, plenty of intermediate stuff, pretty high up so usually good snow. Loads of bars and lots going on at night. Pretty cheap too.
For italy try Sauze d’Oulx, Great nightlife, loads going on off the slopes in evenings, short tranafer time(1 Hr from Turin), lots of great intermediate pistes thriugh the trees, links to much bigger Vialattea area. However is quite low and can suffer badly if there is a lackof snow.

Were off to Bardonecchia at the end of Jan and then Cervinia at Easter 🙂

was up at Benasque and Celer today which is only 2 valleys across from Andora, appox 70% of the runs are open, and car parking was free (which was nice)

    should be a good season
