I think a tax by height is a damn good idea. everyone gets a personal allowance of 5'10" and you get taxed for every inch over that. after all no one needs to be more than 5'10"
we could even have rebates for the really short - or we could set up a trade in height points

Just that I can't find and info on it in any texts on psychology, and it does not in any way seem to be recognised as a mental condition.

'scuse me, we only take up additional vertical air space which you are not using, and we make better use of resources like top shelves and cupboards etc., so we use less space and only extra resources that you more 'vertically challenged' types cant reach!

As a 5'8" lady, I always make sure I stand downhill of my shorter female riding buddies for photos - I don't want to look like a giant!

Elf's right, there is no recognised psychological condition that relates to the supposed Short Man Syndrome, but personally I think the word short gets misunderstood and therein lies the answer.
