Hello everyone. I'm new and this is my first post so please be nice!!

I am wondering if any shimano calipers are compatible with xtr dual control levers or does it need to be specific ones. I've seen these http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=22741 on chain reaction and was hoping to fit them untill i can afford better ones.

i'll give them a shot then. what is the difference between post mount an I.S mount

post mount are two bolts approx 7cm apart that screw in towards the fork leg if on the front. is mount are approx 5cm apart and screw in towards the wheel. if you get one type and need the other, adaptors can easily be obtained – chain reaction sell basically every one you could need.
