[#1933566]

Friend of mine wants to step up from his 'supermarket special' anvil to some a bit better, the only problem is that his budget is limited to £200 to £300. Because he's super-busy running his own business/kids etc., he can't really spend the time hunting down a decent second hand bike.

I'm not really the best person to advise him on budget bikes 😳
Does anyone know of any decent hardtails that are on offer at the moment?

(last years model type of thing)

Ta.

If he's near a Decathlon - have a look at the Rockriders

Thanks for the suggestions. I've told him it'd be best if he could have a sit on a couple of bikes before he buys, so the Halfords and Decathlon options are good options.
