Been out today whooping down the Avon valley heritage trail all round Muiravonside and back home. I drive a Skoda Octavia which generally returns over 50mpg and I ride a Saracen Zen 631 (thats a steel hardtail for the un-informed) in preference to my Orange sub 5, ask me if I’m bothered, don’t bother I’m not. Happiness is me and my dog.

It’s a nice feeling when you can sit back, reflect, and say ‘life is good’.

    Well done!

That’s a seriously dropped top-tube. Personally, I’d lose the Thudbuster, but that’s just me. My hooligan h/t has an I-Beam saddle/post. Nice bike, Saracen are good bikes, lost their way for a bit, but I’d rather have this than a Specialized. I drive an Octy, too, left a Jag and a bunch of other cars standing going up Tog Hill this afternoon. Fun when you catch them napping.

Nowt wrong with new range Saracen, or Octy’s.

But those guards and the seatpost do look a bit grim 😛

As for the grass, that’s just plain neglect!
