    I have a Samsung Galaxy S but when I plug it into my laptop I get the “drivers failed” message

    Any tips/help please?

    Try XDA developers. A wealth of knowledge.

    I would also have a look at Darky’s rom.

    I had the same problem and was advised to uninstall and reinstall the kies software. It did work and i have done it a few times since.
