    Aye – "normal" but a different last shape to your Scarpa, Brasher etc. So much so, Salomon are the only hiking boot I buy.

    yup normal.

    check em before you buy em though, especially if you have wide feet.

    The last pair of Salomon boots I had fitted great (I've got relatively narrow feet) – but fell apart completely in less than 6 months. Won't be buying them again…..

    My first pair lasted thousands of miles. Went to buy another pair and the guy in the shop told me there weren't made very well now so he'd stopped selling them. I've heard this from other sources now as well.

    Normal-ish… slightly narrower than my old Merrells, I reckon.
