I recently snapped the piston in the remote for my Rockshox Reverb seat post.

I purchased the replacement kit (see link) which had everything needed, but since replacing it fluid seems to be getting past the seal of the new plunger.

I noticed a very small scratch inside the housing when I took the old plunger out. Would this be enough to cause the problem?

Any ideas people?

I spoke to Sram technical today, who informed me that I would need the a whole new remote as the inside is scratched.

So other know the part I ordered is ‘R5026010’ RockShox Remote Lever Assy Kit Reverb MMX Left.

Unfortunately this retails at £120!!!!
