hello all……i have a maxle lite front fork and would like to ask the following……after screwing in fully, what tension to put on the lever to close…..im currently leaving it quite easy to close….is this ok or should it be more like a really firm push to close?……thanks all

Should with a firm grip and an almost click shut.

    quite firm!

closing the lever expands the ends of the axle to grip inside the drop-outs

Should leave a mild imprint on your palm or something like that.

Have you tightened the nut on the opposite end while screwing the axle in? I find it needs to be pretty tight to get the lever to "ping" over

On a related note, I lost my maxle lever whislt riding on the weekend. The wheel is still on – is this likely to be a problem?

I'll order a new one but want to keep riding in the meantime. Think I lost it half way around the wall and finished the trail fine and commuted every day on it so far, but just checking 🙂
