    Guys,
My road bike is currently fitted with 700×23 tyres.

There is no sizing information on the rims and i’m thinking of putting some 700 x 28 on the rims as i’m planning on doing the C2C along Hadrians wall and a slightly wider tyre would mkae sense.

Would my current rims be wide enough to take the extra width?

yeah they will be fine, make sure your frame can take a bigger tyer!!

The rims will be fine on tyres up to 35, but unless its a crosser your frame might not not like tyres that big..

    What frame is it?

what brakes do you have as it may be an issue on clearance there as well.

    Thanks Guys,

It’s a Bianch Via Nirone, there looks to be just about enough tyre clearance for a 28, think 32 would be too much.
