Does anyone know what the differences are between RG6 cable and PF100?

I am looking to put a 6 way splitter/amplifier in and wire in the TV's that are in different rooms. I've identified the amplifier, but have no knowledge of why there seems to be a selecion of cables and varying prices. Are there any other types I should consider.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    rg6 is bog standard coax
pf100 is cai/sky approved cable, better for longer runs.
in a domestic run either is ok.
