Biking wise, nail some decent sized jumps. Ideally big enough that they could have appeared in a bike film 10 years ago…

    Start my new job.
Buy a roof rack for my car so I can take advantage of the great cycling up here.
Following on from that look into some of the Pentlands/Lothians, etc. group rides.

I’m going part time in the new year to look after the nipper more so I am planning a lot more riding while she is at school. Could do with dropping a stone or two and knocking the weekend tabs on the head all together.

    Laugh (even) more – doable
See my lovely friends more and make some new ones – doable
Do as many races as I can afford to get to – doable

Pay off my credit card bill – yeah, right
Finish my bathroom – oh really? What, after six years? What’s the rush? 🙂

I’m quitting banking for the new year and taking up a more socially acceptable occupation (dolehound). Should be quite an easy one to stick to, I don’t think they’ll let me back in the office.

Got the fort william endurance DH race to look forward to later in the year so I’m aiming to build up the stamina and upper body strength before then, else my arms will snap off. Might not be a bad idea to learn how to ride a bike either.
