why NOT just carry a small backpack?
Because mol left school some time ago.
Manbags are just wrong
No they're not. Stop being silly.

Just out of interest, why NOT just carry a small backpack?
I think it's actually less convenient.
Manbags are just wrong
Good enough for Ford Prefect.
Some Harris Tweed Sir.....
Ford Prefect sported an alien bag, not a man bag!
Most of those abominations posted above would be fine for carrying your gas mask, but not much else.
Oi thats my mate in that rapha advert dontchaknow..
Dune (the shoe store) have mensbags in, £40.00 black only, look nice too..

Not unlike Cougar's in style:
I like that.
Particularly, I like the fact that the strap buckle is on the other end of the strap to mine, meaning that (as a left-hander) it'll be in front of me rather than digging into the small of my back.
Manhattan Portage is de-rigueur around my hips...

..it even has 'Man' in the name so it must be for blokes...
Not cheap, though Cougar:
http://www.belstaffjacketsonline.co.uk/belstaff-colonial-collection-medium-man-bag_p74.html
Reduced to £132 from £355.
But it is Belstaff. Would go nicely with my Trialmaster jacket. Hmmm, Chrissy pressy to myself?
TKMAX usually have a selection
I was going to put molgrips down on the forum people I'd like to meet thread.
After this thread, I've changed my mind.
Lucky escape for Molgrips then...
There is no such thing as luck. It was just not meant to be...
I could have some of those bags and people would think it was a hand bag.
You know what they say about men with small bags
The same thing they say about women with sensible shoes?
search for Game bags or cartridge bags.
A nice Hardy one:
Magowan, they say. "Ohh, nice shoes"
Emsz, I was going to say 'Ohh, nice bag; that's what they say to a man with a small bag' but it just makes me sound camper than Millets doesn't it?
evryone needs to release their inner camp
Did Binners & Hora take you up anal Street?
That Hardy Carryall bag's nice, but almost the same price as the discounted Belstaff.
(Walks into thread, somewhat disturbed by title)
Do what? Mayn Bayg???
(Walks off, disgusted)
I'm rather taken with this one:

Belstaff 556 shoulder bag. Good enough for Will Smith, good enough for me.
Although his was the brown version.
Just out of interest, why NOT just carry a small backpack?
Cos backpacks are less comfortable than shoulder bags when carried on one shoulder. And I want something pretty small, the size of those musettes I suppose, which means all rucksacks are too big apart from camelbaks, and I'd look a tit carrying a camelbak around.
I only put 'manbag' in the title for a laugh, all I want is a small bag, nothing wrong with that
a game bag with a keep net front (normally for keeping dead rabbits or fish in) is handy for a waterproof.
£11 for this
Last night, right, I seen a bloke get done on the DLR for not having a ticket. For a £1.70 journey.
He had a Prada Mayn-Bayg.
What a knob. You can afford a silly little poncy bayg what probbly cost hundreds of pounds, but not a £1.70 ticket?
Mol; you've bin around those poncy Canary Wharf types too long. I'll have to take you to some areas of
Urban Deprivation, for a bit of balance, get you thinking straight again.

Mayn-Bayg ffs....
Every day three blokes who work in my office go out to the local shops together to buy lunch.
They all toddle off with their "man bag" over their shoulder.
They're all around 50.
Look pretty daft to be honest.
As far as I'm concerned, no man should ever get involved with using an umbrella (get a proper coat), carrying a "man bag" (you look like a girl) or wearing a scarf (you look like your mum dressed you).

A gentleman may carry a furled up umbrella, ideal for hitting any young ruffians that should accost one. The school scarf is also acceptable. But a "man bag"? No, never.
So what should I carry my book and computer in? A bag that's too big, just to keep you lot happy?
Gosh, aren't some people rather over-the-top sensitive to a bloke carrying a bag? Got any "issues" you need to discuss chaps?
Maybe a briefcase with handcuff accessory?
I've got one of this guy's satchels for use as a work bag.
Jeeze, you lot, you lov the 1950's don't ya's... get a grip, the lad wants a bag to carry stuff, look good (no doubt), be handy, be able to chuck his phone in etc.
Some of us have moved on from Ugg "thwak" a long time ago.
The Rapha one ticks all them there boxes..

Yes. A proper manly back-pack.
A grown up carrying a "Man Bag" just looks like a school kid with a satchel.

Speak for yourself
*farts, scratches arse, and wanders off picking nose*
why is a back-pack 'manly'?
