love the ride of my Nomad (Mk1) but not happy with the high maintenance required of the VP link bearings, despite being a pathological tinkerer I resent HAVING to do so every 6 months.
I was pretty close to just going for a new Heckler as it will fit me as well as the nomad and every part will be a straight lift.
Before I press "buy", what am I missing? Had liked the look of the Nukeproof Mega but a 1yr warranty on a brand-new-to-the-market not tried and tested model is a big spanner in that works, but trying to keep budget around £1000 so wont stretch to a Transition Covert, SC Butcher and many other examples in Jedi's otherwise similar thread.
Follow up/tangent Q, what is there out there second-hand that would be in budget and a must-consider (maybe a later Nomad?!).
