Am I the only person that doesn’t like drinking out of mugs which have insides which aren’t white?

does make it tricky to gauge whether your tea has steeped enough*

*when you’re slumming it without a teapot

my pint pot i use for work,never been washed,i can make a brew by just adding boilng water and scrapping a bit off the inside(only in bag crisis)

Are these things cast iron like their pots? If so daft idea…

I got a Marmite mug for Christmas.

To be honest though, the best mugs are the ones that you can fit a pint of coffee in – essential morning equipment.

Most of my mugs came from gigs; a Portishead one, an Elbow one that looks like a Penguin book, several Kate Rusby ones, plus an STW bucket, an X-Files bucket, a Buffy one… 😀
