IMO soft shell jackets are 2thumbs up – if they fit.
(girl in triathlon compression suit warning!)
glasses, gloves, shirt, jackets, socks OK.
locks, underwear, saddles, pump, computer, saddlebag, bottle not so good.

Keep it down will you? I don't want to have to be there at the crack of Sparrow's Fart.

Compression underwear – does it work and if so how does it work?

I tried the underwear once, the rigid seat pad looked like I had a parrot down there. Comically bad fit.

Nice one. I got some fairly good cycling gloves in there before. They were a bit chunky but perfect for the winter. So that's Thursday all over the UK is it?

    Wow yeah that's hardcore!

I might get some of this stuff but I'll give that ultralight jacket a miss I think!

The shorts are very good IMO.

    Darn, no gilets!

I don't get on with their shorts, but the tops are a great fit on me and good value. Rode the Tour of Rutland sportive on Staurday in a pair of Aldi gloves, with no aches or pains. (OK, I only did the 53 mile route!)

What a place to stick the £14.99 sticker, right over her camels hoof! The spoil sports.

i also have a feeling she's either borrowed that bike or stolen it, looks way too big for her. unless she's 6'5

Fair point, that is a big bike.

And it's quite clear that nowhere on the description of any of the kit does it say "water resistant" or "waterproof"…

I got one of their roadie type jerseys the last time around. It was great over the winter. Most of the good stuff went out the door pretty quick though.

On a similar note, (don't know if it's been posted already) Lidls have got semi-decent bike tool kits for £25, really good for the money if you've got a less than comprehensive kit of tools, like myself.

They went into stores in Glasgow yesterday, not sure about the rest of the country.

Hope they've changed the fit of the soft shells, the one they did a few years ago was perfect the last 2 lots had massive bodies and really skinny arms. By the looks of the mono braked DH SSer they haven't 🙁

Got the chain cleaner works a treat for £3.99

resin42 is on the money, tool kit is excellent value

chain tool is solid and has two shelves and threaded end to lock onto chain

    Thick solid steel for pedals

Crack extractor has free spinning end and deep threads.

8mm long allen key with 1/2 socket at end

fits nicely onto the cassette removal and square taper BB tool

Just need to add HT11 tools and cable cutter.
IMO worth the £25 and perfect for car boot, which is where this is going.

I've had one of their track pumps for about 3 or 4 years. It's not the sturdiest piece of kit I've ever used, even though the barrel is aluminium, and I always feel like I've got to take a bit more care pumping my tyres, but it works well enough up to about 120psi and for a fiver, I'm more than happy.

For mtb tyres it's been great.

Selling it? No just a heads up that it's stonking value.

I think ScottCheg is referring to this must admit I reread it to.
