Mercury (look closely near horizon in line from) Moon and Venus.

It could be better tomorrow with Venus and Mercury in similar relative positions and the moon just down right of Venus

I was lucky to have the Hobbiton film location all to myself (only tours show people around usually) into the night. What a magical spot.

Took this on the commute to work this morning, I’ve cycled pass this river almost everyday for the last 3 years -this is the first time it’s made me stop and take a photo, just gutted i only had my phone and not my DSLR.

Do you work a ardeonaig, Matt?. I did my outward bounds training there as an MOD apprentice, god, must’ve been 1995!!. It was ran by Christians at that time iirc?. Loved that week, absolutely awesome fun, kayaking, abseiling, orienteering et al. Happy days indeed.

Well, I didn’t take it, but it was my camera, it’s me, on stage in Bath with Cerys Matthews this evening! My fifteen minutes of fame… 😆

Plus a couple of others I took, that I’m pleased with:

Took this on my travels today, not technically a “good” photo, but I like the subject.

Another one from the Lakes for me- Sticks Pass last weekend, something about the colour of the sky I really like.

    That fly pic is incredible!
Just an iPhone pic for me, but it’s come out pretty well for a snapshot, it’s my current screensaver.

Jad, yeah, iPhone 5, it has a superb camera. It’s good enough I think to make compacts obsolete. The panoramas it takes are good too.
