Not sure which of these two I prefer but I lean more towards the second – what do others think?

Geetee, I prefer the first one. It’s much sharper; especially round the eyes which are full of life in the first photo but blurry, dark and partly shaded in the second.

This may not be the best photo in the world… but it is my first ride in 15 months so deserves a mention 😉

Not my favourite photo I’ve taken by a long way, but the Sky | Ride people thought it worthy of a little prize.

You’re not the first person to ask if it’s the dreaded Jar Jar.

It’s an unidentified figure from the Vasa warship – Sweden’s Mary Rose.

    It did make me chuckle.

    hi there…
this photo wasn’t taken in the last month, as I have no camera at present, but I was just looking through some old folders and found this

Nothing to be proud of in the taking of the photograph, but I did feel incredibly privileged to witness these strange sand formations at the foot of cliffs on the East Devon jurassic coast after recent storms… The sand perfectly mimicking the more permanent rock formations

I really like your work Greg and have commented to that effect that in the past, but that photo of Lucy Adams doesn’t do anything for me whereas a lot of your skatepark stuff does. Maybe it’s too far back. I feel no connection to the subject not any alienation. It’s like she’s just another object in the frame.

You know I think you might be right. It is definitely lacking something and I think it is engagement and connection.

Thanks for taking the time to offer the comment; it certainly helps me.
