  • Perianal heamotoma
  • Got one

Been a bit of a rubbish week but think I am getting over the worse now

Any chances its my biking thats caused it in some way?

Any one had one? how long did it last? any cures you can offer?

    Thanks

    Ouch

I would think it likely its biking related for sure.

Did you have to have it lanced? look out for it getting infected and if at all worried get thee to a doc

Was in the Docs fairly fast, reluctant to offer surgery as the wound care can be as bad as the problem its trying to cure

Was more wondering if its a “regular” cycling ailment

Not able to think about sitting on a saddle at the moment

Well that’s just spoilt my dinner…

Perhaps one of these might help?

    WTF haha!
    Nothing is sacred anymore.
Perhaps a smear of Assos on your arse will prevent this next time.

Hey knife-and-fork, I feel your pain buddy. I got a perianal abscess (not diagnosed at the time) last year which put me off my bike for nearly 3 months. Hope it doesn’t take long to clear up.

For those frightened of google images, do not search for “anal fistula”, “seton drain” or “perianal granuloma”, all of which I have/had 🙁
