  • Numpty alert?… Bottom bracket size for Trek 6 series?

    Got a Trek 6500 and the bottom bracket needs replacing (along with the rest of the drive train…) Is there a way of finding out the relevant size without taking it out first (would like to order before I take bike apart…)?

    Trek site seems to have everything else apart from this… Forum search hasn't helped…

    PS – any recommendations for brand / model v welcome – regular thrash bike so want reasonable wear but not looking to spend a fortune…
