    … however, 😳

what’s the surface like there ? I’m assuming it must be compacted shale/gravel or similar and doesn’t get ded muddy

    – or a meringue ?

Any tyres. I think someone on here rode afan with a 20″ bmx with slick tyres.

Pretty good. I’ve been round in the worst of winter wettness on small block 8’s and it’s been fine. The only really muddy bit is the link on the W2.

I’m sure one could indeed ride it on anything and I’m also fairly sure I didn’t ask what tyres to ride it on 😉

Sadly my bmx isn’t rideable so it’ll have to be a kids scooter

    now, the mud/surface thing … ?

    (thanks blobbers)

Mostly shale, gravel and rock I think. Nothing too muddy.

Just been round wall and whites. Ardents 2.25 suits you sir! A few wet patches but it,s all rock and hard packed gravel, no gloop at all.

thanks – I have a choice between near-slick and skinny mud tyre unless I change something over. Looking like a slick then !

You really dont want a skinny mud tyre at afan ever!

+1 Ardents 2.25 roll fast and provide great grip. Avoid more nobly tyres as I find they tend to loose grip on wet rock or roots. Ardents flatter profile gives you great grip
