Correct, heat the leftovers bolognaise up and just pop it into the omlette. Worked a treat.

He didnt ask for odd. Just non-traditional. I think of them as oversized profiteroles.

Sliced banana with apricot stilton, sometimes with a smear of butterscotch syrup to hold the banana in place.
    Pot noodle in pancakes.
    Raspberry Sambuca with Strawberry Milk.
Its nice to try new things.

The two quickies I like are a Rivita covered with peanut butter sandwiched between two slices of Marmite-covered crusty bread. The other is the same Rivita thing but replacing the Marmite with honey.

    Mmmmm

Dumb question from the USA contingent: What is golden syrup? My first assumption is a sweet syrup like used on pancakes, etc., but then I could be wrong.

Interesting how often peanut butter crops up in this thread…

I personally like peanut butter and ketchup sarnies, by this reaction of my friends and colleagues, this is considered somewhat non traditional.

For a while, I had chocolate custard and grapes on a regular basis.

I’m still partial to a fried mushroom sandwich too.

Toast. Butter. Marmite. Peanut butter. Ketchup. Freshly ground pepper.

In that order. Bish bash bosh. We call it the pizza at home 🙂
