Just been out for my first little ride on my new Singlespeed- it's been built mainly out of bits from the classifieds and a bike I bought off of ebay in the summer- thanks to everybody who's sold me bits and whom I've bothered with emails!

As you can see, it's a Cotic Simple- Pace rigid forks, Thomson seatpost and stem, EC90 flat bars, XC717 rims with XC front and Pro2 SS rear hubs, ENO cranks and Mono Mini's. I've even lined up the rim/ tyre logo's
The idea was to replace my Patriot with something needing less maintenance and more appropriate for my riding over the winter. It was also supposed to be a cheaper build so I had some money to put towards university fees, but I've accidentally spent a bit too much on it!
There's a few things I want to change; the stem is a little long, I'd like some lighter, faster rolling tyres, and I've dished the rear wheel totally wrong (the front is spot-on, tiny bit of bob but it's straight!), but other than that I'm really happy with it!
Let me know what you think!
