I have a pre-box section rear end on my ST4. Anyone out there changed the rear end for a new style one ? did you find a marked difference to the bike, is it worth doing ?
I see it may solve the chainsuck issue which would be a big plus, what else gets better ?

Definitely chain suck solved, marginally stiffer. I think the tubed back ends may have been recalled so get in touch and ask Orange!

I had a 2008 frame with a welding error on the rear stays so Orange replaced them with 2010 stays. SO they definitely fit, and I've never had chainsuck, but as I never rode the 2008 setup I can't comment on the difference in ride.
