   Just finished this off, well almost, just need to sort the gear cable ends and play with the stem/bars...

   

   Got the frame and tyres from the classifieds, wheels from CRC when they were cheap over Christmas and the rest came from my 26" HT. Comes in at 25lb on our luggage scales.

   Only had a quick blast up and down the road, but it feels pretty good, nice and quick

   Nice one. I built one of those to try out the 29er thing, couple of rides later i was hooked. 29" wheels seem to suit rigid forks so much better as well.

   I found this one on ebay last year and totally loved it. I then found a Scandal frame and transplanted the components.

   I was looking at the eBay carbon frames originally, but the Haro frame came up on here and it seemed a good way to try out a 29er.

   I plan to use it for riding from my door and general exploring, I'm hoping it sits somewhere between my canti-braked CX and 26" front sus HT used too.

   Got my eye on the Reba's @ on-one but not sure whether to stay rigid or not, I'll do a few rides before deciding

   Got a little soft spot for haro from yesteryear...great builds guys!

   Chainslap, looks particularly enviable in 29er flavour
