Anyone measured the maximum across knobbles width of a 2.35" Swampthing? Was thinking of getting a pair for winter duties as my favorite WTB Timberwolves are looking a bit past it and a little too tight in my new frame.

Are you XC or DH riding? I find they come up pretty slim, but I only run 2.1's the big uns are heavy old things…

XC but with the emphasis on enjoying the downhills as much as possible. Used to running 2.3" Timberwolves, which measure 60mm max and weight about 800g. Was thinking of trying the single ply, 60a variety.

Should also add that I'm using Mavic XM321 rims.
