How do you get on with the big 'gap' between 160 and 115?

If solo air – do you ride XC'ish rides on 160?

Any niggles/gripes and how do they perform in general?

Been impressed with my 2 Steps, for climbing 115mm is pretty good and then barrel up to 160mm for goin down, not sure I would use anything in between, had U-Turn on forks before abd tended to use only the upper and lower limits.
    Very plush and adjustable.

Solo air here, brilliant fork and much better suited to my weight than U Turn as I seemed to between spring weights. I have spacered mine down to 145mm. Lyriks feel kind of strange at 160mm imo, wouldn't want to ride XC at that anyway.

I've got Solo Air Lyriks on my Nomad and I ride everything on them. XC, DH and stuff in between. I like them

    2-step here….

top fork other than when the 2-step stopped stepping and would stay at 160.

all fixed now, though. top fork. run it on a DB Alpine. flick the switch and with a little jab on the forks it drops to 115. no need to use the lock-out as it firms up when at 115, but with enough 'give' for hefty hits.

run it fairly soft and it sits at ~140 with sag.

    really ahppy with it.

    Perfect.

Thanks guys. Agree on the Uturn comment.

I have a set of 2 step forks on my Remedy. Really good to be able to drop it for steep climbs. Makes it easier to keep the front wheel on the ground.

What pressures are you using (2step) and is there a routine – put pos in first before neg etc?

don't think mine has pos and neg pressure?

I followed the setting instuctions from treks website for my weight, and made a few tweeks after the 1st few rides. really good forks, far better than the talas I had before.

i have solo airs. They're hard work for usual XC jobs, so i only save them for the silly xc rides (or DH). I've heard lots of problems about 2-steps (opens a can of worms)…

don't thank me, thank those great guys at trek bikes.

certainly does make it easier as there is a lot of things to tinker with.
    enjoy those forks.

    yup post '09.

if you pick up a set of earlier Lyriks send them off to Fisher if/when they go wrong and you'll have a top set of forks….
