Darrell, been L'pool a few times before and had a cracker there, love Manc too mind - not after the old "clubbing" experience, just somewhere fairly stylish that doesn't play cheese...Posted 8 months ago # -
Eric's was great about 25 years ago.
Might have reopened if you fancy a nostalgia trip!

Coupla busy places down at Albert dock. Think one was a vodka type bar? Rammed at the weekends, but a bit up on themselves.. Was there for a stag weekend a few months back. Think I asked on here..
There was a street near the city centre, not far from the cavern club, also rammed at weekends but more the easyjet end of the spectrum.. Only place I've been to that had 90s revival bars!!Posted 8 months ago # -
Hi, been a few years since I was up there clubbing, but been up with work and the areas still seem pretty similar. You've got slater St - cheap busy bars, several shooter options and I think oneills and maybe flares up there too. There's a square right next to it that always had the funky bars in (poss called Norwegian blue or something?). Then there's Matthews sq which is where the cavern is. TBH I always hated this bit, but is got some decent bars. Finally got Albert dock as mentioned by al. Nicer bars up here, with higher prices, but not sure how late they're open. O er 2 options def. Open late.
Hope this helps!

Is baabaa still there?
Head to concert square / seal street area and you will be fine, plenty of choice
Cuban bar in an old church (forget it's name) is worth a visit
After over 16 years away I actually now finally miss my home cityPosted 8 months ago # -
No need for a club, just head to concert square and Modo's.

This place is wicked, that display they do at 11 or Midnight with the Cuban dancers and rose petals...

Your best bet is to head for wood street and seel street
