The weather was poor at times and limited what was flying. F16 was pretty awesome as well though.

I was jiffed with working there today (based at waddo so a bit of a trek!!!) I have to say in comparison to waddos air show it's a bit sparse. I was living the dream selling programs at the St Andrews park and ride.

Been ages since I went to an airshow and I loved it. Vulcan and Dutch F16 were highlights. Shame the Gripen was rained off, as I was enjoying the noise.

The red arrows will fly as an 8 for the rest of the season now. Fortunatley that doesn't happen too often.

I remember seeing a Lightning many many years ago, at (I think) Biggin hill, came from behind the crowd line and went straight up.. Awesome..

I was fortunate enough to have my brother serve in 43 Squadron back in the 90's and was an air cadet as a teen and did three years summer camp up there, managed to have a go in a few nice bits of kit, Wessex chopper, Tornado and a non flying but running Lightning, thinking about it now brings goose bumps but amazingly now as a 37 year old I'm proper aerophobic
