The weather was poor at times and limited what was flying. F16 was pretty awesome as well though.

Howling nicely today

I was jiffed with working there today (based at waddo so a bit of a trek!!!) I have to say in comparison to waddos air show it’s a bit sparse. I was living the dream selling programs at the St Andrews park and ride.

Been ages since I went to an airshow and I loved it. Vulcan and Dutch F16 were highlights. Shame the Gripen was rained off, as I was enjoying the noise.

I Have to see this aircraft flyng sometime. I just seem to keep missing it.

The red arrows will fly as an 8 for the rest of the season now. Fortunatley that doesn’t happen too often.

Vulcan was great,
Liked the second F16 flight more
and really enjoyed the euro fighter display at the end…

I remember seeing a Lightning many many years ago, at (I think) Biggin hill, came from behind the crowd line and went straight up.. Awesome..

Mostly Red Arrows, but a Vulcan as well

I was fortunate enough to have my brother serve in 43 Squadron back in the 90’s and was an air cadet as a teen and did three years summer camp up there, managed to have a go in a few nice bits of kit, Wessex chopper, Tornado and a non flying but running Lightning, thinking about it now brings goose bumps but amazingly now as a 37 year old I’m proper aerophobic 😆
