I keep going back to maxxis minions as found nothing compares for grip and general surefootedness. As they run small have to go with the bigger versions to get decent volume, which is means a very heavy tyre.Recently on muddy marys which are light and big volume but still don't feel as grippy as minions.
So, the rubber queens, great reviews but anyone know how they compare to minions?

    I have ridden both.

Whilst I love the massive volume of the Rubber Queens (2.4) the Minions have been flawless.

I have the single ply maxxpro Minions 2.35'' and they are only marginally heavier that the 2.1's they replaced.

MBUK have a feature this month on these sorts of tyres where the Minions come out top – but I guess it is personal choice.

If you went for either I don't think you would go far wrong. Just measure us as the Continentals are huuuuuge.

Does the rubber queens level of grip come close to the minions?

rubber queens are vastly overated imo.
silly big for a 2.2 & the 2.4 is hideous.heavy to boot an all.

slightly better than the mountain kings as these are made of tissue paper.
