After placing an order on 12th March, my new bike is now in the hands of DHL in transit from Germany. I suspect that it will probably be delivered on Tuesday though, because of the bank holiday.

It’s a Rose Thrill Hill 8. 10.2 kg for £2039. Not the prettiest bike in the world, but I’m buying it for the weight, not the looks.

For me looks are very important, if i didnt like the look of my bikes i wouldnt want to ride them.

Not that ugly looking! good spec for the money as well.

best XC trail bike as voted for by bike radar… pretty imppressive, their bikes starting to be a real hit it seems given the recent reviews from high profile mags.

Even I think it’s attractive, and that’s in spite of a rear shock.

Personally, i don’t think it looks that good, but I’m hoping it looks better in the flesh.

I did have Canyon on my shortlist, but this was cheaper 7 lighter.

I ordered it in mid-March, when there was an offer on, that’s why I only paid £2039 😀
